I made a doodad
All right, I took some time off from blogging. I could claim I was busy -- I always am. But the truth is, I was just bored with blogging.
Instead, I made a cute little tray thingie. It's just about big enough for one cup of coffee. So I painted it white, because coffee looks great spilled all over white, right? Right. I knew you would agree with me.
You can make a tray thingie, too, if you join Club Stamp. But I'm going to ask you not to join Club Stamp. We CStamp members always get the coolest projects, and I'm tired of sharing the goodies. I want more little trays, for instance, and they're all gone from the GHM! Dept.
[Note to non-members: "GHM! Dept." is the "Gotta Have More!" shopping area on the Club Scrap and Club Stamp websites. You get extra crafting goodies there. Stay away. The more of you there are to compete with, the less nifty stuff I snag.]
Later this month, I'm going to go to a "retreat" to do some more incredibly cool crafty projects. I already posted about that, but I'm getting more excited about it. I was going to stay in the hotel where the retreat is held, but it's an expensive hotel, and I ran out of moolah for that. I'll just have to get up at 6:00 every day for an entire weekend and drive to Knoxville for the retreat classes instead of rolling out of a luxurious hotel bed and slogging slowly downstairs for the classes at 9:30 in the morning.
Dang. The things I'll do to pretend I know how to do cool stuff.
I am really looking forward to seeing Tricia and everyone else from Club Scrap Headquarters. Those ladies are lovely and ever so gracious and warm and wonderful. Someday, if I ever grow up, I want to be more like them.
But what are the chances that I'll ever grow up? OK, yeah, you're probably right. Back to the drawing board.......
